Beginning on Monday, February 14, 2005, CME will add “E-mini” to the name of the Russell 1000 futures contract.  Sized as an E-mini product and long considered a part of the E-mini family of products, the new name will more accurately reflect the nature of the contract.

All aspects of the product will remain the same – same contract specifications, same ticker symbols and trading hours.  The only thing changing is the name:  Russell 1000® becomes E-mini^TM Russell 1000.
